Join Erin as we welcome the Spring season with our Chi Gong workshop.
The goal of Chi Gong (energy work) is to use movement, posture, and breath in order to maintain a healthy balance in our physical and spiritual bodies. In the winter we have been quiet and still. The Spring season is calling us to be more active and energetic as nature awakens. Spring Qi Gong practice focuses on maintaining and improving our flexibility in the tendons and connective tissue while we find inspiration with the promise of new growth all around us. In this workshop we will understand and harmonize with the element of Wood, the expression of the Spring season through the Wood standing position, practice of the 3 Hearts and 9 Gates, Wood healing sound and more.
